Much Ado About Nothing

In Shakespeare play “Much Ado About Nothing” the theme lie and deception is a major role in getting a couple together but it also was a role to tear a couple apart. The theme deception can be used both good and bad if the intentions are good then the role is good and fair however when the role is negative and causes harm the role is bad. Deception in Much ado about nothing has both importance and relevance to today's society with a slight switch than it did in the 16th century. Each of the main characters in Much Ado About Nothing is the victim of deception, and it is because they are deceived that they act in the ways that they do. Although the central deception is directed against Claudio in an attempt to destroy his relationship with Hero, it is the deceptions involving Beatrice and Benedick which provides the play's dramatic focus. MLK : Rhetorical Analysis

Martin Luther King Jr. civil rights activist was imprisoned in the spring of 1963 after him and his organization, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), targeted Birmingham, Alabama, with a series of peaceful demonstrations aimed at ending segregation. There was a letter published calling his action "unwise and untimely" and Luther responded with his own letter using irony, tone, and pathos to justify his actions. In the second paragraph of the “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” Mr. King shows irony when describing why he was in Birmingham in the first place. Not only was Birmingham Alabama a place where segregation was at large and the main cause of any non-violent demonstration needed to be held but also Mr. King Relays some not so public information about how the SCLC has eighty-five affiliated organization across the south the Alabama conference invited Mr. King to come and help with the demonstrations. Synthesis Essay Analysis

Each essay brought something different to the table in essay one however it should receive a 5 because even though the author did develop a position on the side of preserving everyday writing he lacked the amount of reasons to support why it is important. The author simply stuck with one reason throughout the essay about it needing to be preserved because of the "history would be lost" if it was not preserved. While only using one reason he took at least sources to back up this one reason. I enjoyed the sources they used however in the second paragraph there was not a clear transition of ideas. The author felt lost in there writing in part of it and was unclear on how they wanted the essay to go. Even though the author does still have but one simple reason both his intro and conclusion lacked clarity and depth it was not a captivity ways to start nor to end the essay. The Ways We Lie

Have you ever told a little white lie and it not be so little after all? In the world today you will run across so many who lie from small to large but do you really know the consequences of those lies. In the story, "The Ways We Lie" Stephanie Ericsson defines several different types of lies and the reality of them she uses her own personal experience, historical facts, and some other different examples to show that these lies are relevant to today's society. Ericsson gives you a brief summary of her day and how many lies she told in that days and then furthered her summary by explaining that no one was hurt emotionally or physically within the lies. However, when she deceased to go without listening to realizes how much lying helps prevent hurt she realizes that by just telling the simple truth it hurts more than the untold truth. Reflection Essay - Coming of Age in Mississippi

In the article, " Coming of Age in Mississippi", you see the struggles a black woman goes through to have equality with civil disobedience.  Ann Moody showed us one her the sit-ins that she had sat in and described the white race as diseased. My viewpoint of civil disobedience is different because i guess i a a white and raised with the white yes there was always blacks around me but it was never the good kind of blacks. They all seemed trashy and had low respect for themselves and i know it's not true because there are blacks out there that have very high respect for themselves and they look down upon whites.     Macbeth is one of the greatest plays written by man. From the intriguing details to the tug on opinions and unanswered questions. In act one of Macbeth Shakespeare gives up some controversy between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth along with a twist of witches and evil.     Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are obviously married and they are in this curse set by the witches. Reflection: Multiple Choice GroupWork

     The breakdown of our analysis was going through each individual question that we missed and understanding what type of question it was. There was a pattern of questions that we have missed. Some of the type of questions we missed were questions that asked about tone, authors purpose, rhetorical devices and  main idea. My number one way of trying to attack of I come across this type of question is simply break it down to like maybe how does this piece of text make me feel or what did I grasp from this text.      The primary difference between me and my self with the mock exam and working in as a group is simply I can't focus well with a group or not everyone in the group wants to pay attention also I feel like it's a majority rules even tho I believe it's something else.
