Macbeth - Act One: Reflection
Macbeth is one of the greatest plays written by man. From the intriguing details to the tug on opinions and unanswered questions. In act one of Macbeth Shakespeare gives up some controversy between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth along with a twist of witches and evil. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are obviously married and they are in this curse set by the witches. Or are they? In at the begging of the act the witches tell Macbeth that he will become future king. Well in scene five Lady Macbeth makes her plan know stating, " ...Duncan's entrance into my fortress, where he will die." She then goes and states some very dark witchcraft type of stuff like, " thicken my blood and clog my veins... so that no human compassion can stop my evil plan... come to my female breast and turn my mother's milk into poisonous acid.” This gives the question of if she may be the 4th witch.
